Saturday was a busy day at Ryan’s workshop in SE1 with Spring Break making mallets en masse. The “dowel in ski pole” method seemed to work really well, resulting in an extremely sturdy polo mallet (Gorilla Glue was a magic touch too).
We’re looking into ways of chopping and capping the 3pmh heads, although the weight of such a mallet head might negatively affect our stick handling. Shooting versus stick handling, the experimentation continues…
